Town Board Meetings

The Town Board typically meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month. Town Board meetings take place at 6:30 PM at the Town Hall, 1880 S. Stoughton Road, Madison, Wisconsin. Board meetings are open to the public, with the rare exception of some closed sessions that are required to deal with statutorily sensitive issues- like personnel matters and contract negotiations.

A typical Town Board meeting consists of reports from the different Board members, the Clerk/Treasurer/Administrator, the Fire Chief, and the Public Works department. There are specific agenda items for each meeting, which allow the Board to take action of some kind related to that item. The Board cannot legally take action without an item being listed on the agenda. The public also has an oppurtunity at every Board meeting to voice concerns they may have about any topic. Other meetings that the Town Board presides over during the course of a year are the Town’s Annual Meeting, and any Budget Meetings that may be needed.

Plan Commission Meetings

The Plan Commission meets the first Wednesday of every month. The meetings are open to the public, and take place at 6:15 PM at the Town Hall, 1880 S. Stoughton Road, Madison, Wisconsin.

If you have an issue that you might want to come to the Plan Commission with, contract the Town Office at 223-1104 or board1@blmgrove.com to get on the agenda.

Meeting Agendas

If you wish to have meeting agendas e-mailed to you, e-mail the Town Office at board1@blmgrove.com and simply make that request. There is no charge for having agendas e-mailed to you. Agendas are also posted in the five posting sites in the Town of Blooming Grove.
