Parks
The Town of Blooming Grove has three major parks. They are:
--Thurber Park on Thurber Avenue, in Gallagher Plat;
--Severson Park on Severson Drive, in the Rambing Acres neighborhood; and
--April Hill Park on Carncross Drive, in the April Hill subdivision.
The Town parks are for the enjoyment of all Town residents and their guests. If planning a large get-together at one of the parks, you can make a reservation by calling the Town Office at 223-1104. There is nominal charge to reserve the park ($20).
To make the parks most enjoyable for the majority of residents, there are certain restrictions on their use. The parks are open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. No alcohol is allowed, without having a permit to do so. Pets must be leashed at all times, and dog waste must be immediately cleaned up. No motor vehicles are allowed in the parks, and fires of any kind are prohibited.
